Samuel Scott

Licensed Builder & Carpenter

I am a licensed builder and carpenter serving clients in Leelanau County and Traverse City, Michigan. Prioritizing high quality craftsmanship, dependability, and thoroughness, I adhere to a thoughtful approach for each project. With a decade of experience specializing in Northern Michigan waterfront homes, I can provide contracting services, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, and fine custom carpentry with an outstanding level of care and respect.

I live in Northport with my wife, two children, and two dogs in a home we've built together. When not working on a project for my family or clients, I enjoy playing guitar, listening to comedy specials, and spending time in one of the many beautiful natural areas Leelanau County provides.

“When we build, let us think that we build forever. Let it not be for present delight nor for present use alone. Let it be such work as our descendants will thank us for; and let us think, as we lay stone on stone, that a time is to come when those stones will be held sacred because our hands have touched them, and that men will say, as they look upon the labor and wrought substance of them, 'See! This our fathers did for us.”
― John Ruskin
